The submersible axial flow pump is using the thrust of the rotating impeller blades to make the liquid to be transported flow in the direction of the pump axis.
Because the blades have a certain helix angle with the axis of the pump shaft, so when the shaft is driven to rotate by the motor, a thrust (or lift) is generated on the liquid, and the liquid is pushed out from the discharge pipe.
